Well, Smitty and I (Terry) fished in the Central Walleye Trail's "Rafferty Reservoir Walleye Cup" this past weekend at Mainprize Regional Park near Estevan
We had the FS Alumacraft T-Pro 195 tuned in and ready to go.
We prefished some new spots on the South end of the Reservoir with some luck, but, couldn't find any big Walleye.
We decided on the day of the Tournament, we'd head to the North end of Rafferty. We have a few spots there that consistently produce fish.
In the end, we filled the live well with 5 fish. The large Walleye eluded the majority of the 85 teams entered into this years event. This was my first tournament experience and I have to say, it was a lot of fun. A lot more work goes into tournament fishing than I had anticipated. Needless to say, we have reserved our room at Harbourview Bed and Breakfast
At the end of the day, we placed 37th of 85 teams.
We'll see you on the water.
