Wow, those are some real dandies.
Way to go guys and congrats on all the personal bests.
Here are a few of my bigger fish through the ice.
A PB whitefish at 5.8 lbs.
Darn sun in the eyes,lol.
My PB burbot at 33".
I like eating burbot, but this big one went back.
My largest fish to date, both through the ice or open water.
The pike was 42.5" x 18.9".
She took a while to maneuver up the 8" hole making several long runs. When the fish finally came up the hole she filled it completely.
My home made loop rig did the trick catching both treble hooks just in the corner of the lip.
After a few photos and a length and girth measure, she went back and was in a hurry.
Now I hope to beat that size sometime.
All my PB's came from Last Mountain Lake.
