I'm having a problem when it comes to perch fishing lately. I can't find any! In all fairness, I usually don't fish for them, but I used to catch them everywhere when I was younger, now your lucky to find any decent sized perch and when you do, they aren't there in the big schools like they used to be. A friend has a camera, and at Mission and Echo this winter, we saw perch quite a bit, but in groups of 2-3, never schools. Cisco by the thousands! These fish aren't the brightest (we've got something in common) and they are supposedly the "easiest" fish to find and catch. If I find em', I can still catch em', but all the spots I used to catch them are dead. I want to take my little brother out fishing for perch one of these days, so if any of you can share a couple good spots to catch decent perch from shore, PM me if you don't mind. I'm usually don't keep my fish, even perch or walleye, so other than a few for him, we won't be fish-pigs. I hate cleaning fish and so does my girlfriend, that's why she's someone else's girlfriend now, so that's my excuse. Anyways, any help would be greatly appreciated, and kept confidential. Thanks you fin- heads!
