@steve I fished the big bend on the west side of the river last week. Hard to gauge depth as I didn't have electronics and I was fishing from shore. I was bombing spoons out as far as possible, the current was pushing them downstream quite a bit but I was able to estimate a few spots at at least 8 feet deep while the remainder appeared to be in that 4-6 foot deep range. I am guessing that if we could find a spot over 9 feet we would be in the money!

@elkslayer99 I have fished on both sides of the weir this year already. The east side still has a bit of snow and ice, and with the recent melt, I wouldn't go there unless you're a capable hiker and with good shoes. One wrong step and you're swimming! The west side though, just north of the train bridge was fine. Good rocky area. The current seemed to be really strong for the water depth, at least what I'm used to.
