Thanks saskfly! I also have a floating line that I could use, and I've read stories about guys using like 12ft leaders with 3 feet of tippet to get to the required depth, then fishing multiple flies, i.e. nympth/streamer combos with the streamer at the back looking like it's chasing the nymph. Has anyone tried this, or something similar? Also, what would be the ideal line to use for pulling in the hawgs? Full sink or sinktip? I've read that like intermediate sink, these lines tend to bow, and have slack underwater, making it difficult to detect strikes.
