Indeed there are lots that don’t have boat. Just to input some of the good shore fishing spots that are easily accessible in Regina area. Regina beach pier slip bobber fishing is getting more and more popular but you really gotta respect other anglers as it’s usually crowded. From mid May to early June you can see 7lbs walleye pulled everyday. Mid summer you still catch big ones but not as often.
If you enjoy carp fishing I would suggest fishing the last mountain creek in Craven in early summer for big ones (never caught a small carp in Saskatchewan lol). Also the creek that connects Pasqua and Echo also holds giant carp.
Katepwa Lake: both Sandy beach and Katepwa point have a sharp drop offs as you can get down to 30 feet with an easy cast (pickerel rip bottom fishing). Lots of jumbo yellow perch hanging around there. Mid September to early November is the best time to target them in size and quantity. I once caught 15 jumbos in 1 hour, sometimes you catch 2 at the same time (beauty of a pickerel rig lol).
It might be a good idea for people looking for new spots but can be annoying for old anglers as they don’t want their secret spots to be known.
